Leading PDP Publicity Candidate, Lere Olayinka Screened, Restates Commitment To Party Reinvigoration
The leading contender for the office National Publicity Secretary in tomorrow's national convention of the opposition party, People's Democratic Party, PDP, at Port Harcourt, Lere Olayinka has just been screened few minutes ago alongside other candidates for various positions.
Like Olayinka, candidates screened are Senator Ali Modu Sherif for chairmanship position, Prince Uche Secondus for deputy chairmanship position, and host of others.
While briefing newsmen after being screened by the Emmanuel Aguma-led committee, Olayinka said revitalising the party through its image, will take a center stage in his term.
In his words, the most sorted after and widely endorsed candidate said " Like I have been saying, my job is simply to give new life and energy to the party which is now the only hope of the masses, through positive imaging. We must breathe in new strength to revitalise, and make PDP more formidable than before, because our people does not have another hope than it."
He however, wish all delegates attending the National convention a hitch-free journey and blissful experience during their stay in Port Harcourt.
