Good morning ladies and gentlemen, Elders, Leaders, members of PDP and Electorates. It is with great honour I announce to you that the much anticipated date and timetable of the LGA/LCDA election that we have all been waiting for, was finally released yesterday by the chairperson of the Lagos state independence electoral commission(LASIEC), Hon. Justice Tunde Philips.
Frederick Douglas, a former American slave said and I quote " If there is no struggle, their is no progress and those who profess to favour Freedom and yet depreciate agitation are men who crop without ploughing up the ground, they want rain without the thunder and lightening, They want the ocean without the awful roar of the ocean.
In other words, I call on everybody and all registered voters to get their Permanent Voter's Card(PVC) ready so that we can all perform our civic duty. This democracy belongs to all of us and this particular election is the closes to the grassroot where your voices and impact could be heard and felt.
Let us all go out there to campaign for PDP and A10 in Ejigbo for transparent and innovative government at the local government level. Kindly come out to cast your vote on July 22nd, 2017 and ensure you to stay back to monitor your votes on the election day.
