Buhari’s government is 50 percent PDP controlled, says Ali Customs boss

Comptroller General of Nigeria Custom Service, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali has said that the Buhari government has not been able to move forward and fulfill its campaign promises because most of those calling the shots in the government are those who never believed in the President’s vision.

Ali’s assertion was supported by Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong who said state governors are not happy that they are left out of appointments being made by the government.

Speaking at the commissioning of the office complex of the Buhari Support Organisation in (BSO) in Abuja, Col Ali who…

Tor Tiv wants compensation for 2001 Zaki Biam invasion

The Fifth Tor Tiv, James Ayatse, has called on the federal government to compensate the people of Zaki Biam in Katsina-Ala Local Government Council Area of the state for the 2001 military invasion that witnessed many killings.

Mr. Ayatse made the request on Friday at his Palace in Gboko while receiving the corpse of a former Chief of Army Staff, Victor Malu.

Mr. Malu served as Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff between 1999-2001 and had held several positions, including ECOMOG Chief in Liberia.

Mr. Malu, who was 70 years old, died on October 9 in Cairo where he had gone for medical treatment.

The monarch expressed regret that the destruction of the village affected the late general’s country home, stressing that the compensation would be in his honour.

Mr. Ayatse recalled the many sacrifices of Malu to the country, pointing out that he served the country meritoriously through the military in several war theatres across the world.

He said that 17 years after the military invasion, nothing had been done to assuage the pains and sufferings of Mr. Malu’s kinsmen.

The Tor Tiv appealed to the wife of the departed army general to take solace in the many achievements of her husband and move on in life.

Handing over the remains of Mr. Malu to the Tor Tiv, Nuhu Ade said the country would continue to remember Mr. Malu for his contributions toward peace and stability.

Mr. Nuhu, who was Mr. Malu’s personal physician, described him as gallant soldier.

Mr. Nuhu, a retired brigadier general, was in company of top military personnel and the Tor Sankera, Abu Shuluwa, and other paramount rulers in Tivland.

The A10action news will be present at Mr. Malu burial that will be done today, Saturday 28th of October, 2017 at his country home, Tse Adoor compound, in Tongov kindred of Katsina -Ala Local Government.

Police after me for refusing to transfer $10m – Ecobank MD, Charles Kie

Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria Limited, Mr. Charles Kie, has filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit before the Federal High Court in Lagos, seeking protection from police harassment.

In the suit through his lawyer, Chief Anthony Idigbe (SAN), Kie claimed that the police had been stalking him, with the aim of forcing Ecobank to “illegally” transfer $10.5m from the account of one of its customers to a third party.

The MD recalled that policemen on September 28 besieged the Corporate Headquarters of Ecobank on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos, seeking to arrest him “on the grounds that he refused to comply with their instruction to illegally transfer the sum of $10,500,000 from a customer’s account to a third party account.”

He said the policemen went as far as bribing some security personnel stationed at the entrance of his office, asking them to disclose the MD’s movement and his residential address to them.

Kie said as a result of the “damaging scene” caused by the policemen, the bank’s business activities for that day was disrupted.

He said he had since been living under the fear of police intimidation and harassment, which he said had in turn been taking its toll on Ecobank’s daily business activities where he has the responsibility of making key decisions daily.

Kie is seeking an order of perpetual injunction restraining the police from “harassing, oppressing, detaining, arresting and/or intimidating the applicants or their officers or interfering, in any way, with the personal liberty of the applicants or the smooth running of their business in any manner whatsoever that will breach the fundamental rights of the applicants.”

Joined as respondents in the suit were the Inspector-General of Police; the Lagos State Commissioner of Police; DCP Bolaji Salami; and one Akin Jegede.

On Thursday, a lawyer from Idigbe’s chambers, A.I. Olawole, approached Justice Muslim Hassan, seeking an interim injunction barring the police from harassing or arresting Kie pending the determination of the fundamental rights enforcement suit.

In his ruling on Thursday, Justice Muslim Hassan ordered that status quo should be maintained pending the final determination of Kie’s N100m suit against the police.

He said the police should be put on notice and adjourned hearing in the case till November 9.

More headache for Kachikwu as oil marketers ‘plot his removal

Some stakeholders in the oil sector are pushing for the removal of Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum resources.

This is as a result of the minister’s claim that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) awarded N25 billion contracts without due process.

Although, Kachikwu later recanted, saying the issues he raised were on governance and the “way to go about it”, some major marketers and key unions in the sector are said to be miffed.

The unions consist of the leadership of the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), the petroleum tanker drivers branch of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASSAN).

Others are the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMA), the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) and…

UN announces recruitment of Nigerians

UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, has disclosed that there are 37 career openings for young Nigerians in the world body.

Mohammed disclosed this, weekend, at a Cultural Night organised by Nigerians working at the United Nations Systems.

She said the openings are available via the Junior Professional Officers’ Programme, including internship for young graduates.

JPO is a programme for the young people to come and grow their career at the UN and it has 37 positions for Nigeria – one for each of the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory.

The JPO programme provides young professionals with hands-on experience in multilateral technical co-operation, and is one of the best ways to gain entry level positions within the UN system.

JPOs are sponsored by their own government, which fund their placement in one of a range of UN organisations.

“Whenever there are opportunities, try and pave the way for the young ones; you are getting old and we want to see the young ones in the system”, she said referring to older Nigerians.

“We need to give the youth the opportunity because if we don’t give them the opportunities, they can easily fall victims of crimes.”

According to Mohammed, the Nigerian employees at the UN system are getting old and there is the need for the Nigerian youth to be allowed to come into the system.
She said: “Home really does need us; there are leaders and we are trying with the professionals that we see in the United Nations.

“The work we need to do is not just to the world but also to remember that at the root of all that, you are only as good as where you come from.

“And it’s really important that we remember, with what we do here, what we can get back home, that we can encourage those at home, and inspire them.

“It’s not just what we do for the world. Can’t we take those expertise back home?”

The UN too official further condemned what she termed alarming gender-based violence in Nigeria, saying it has increased in dimensions that one could never imagine.

She said: “When I look back home and I see that there are women that are coming back from Boko Haram captivity, they come back with a type of violence that many, for the rest of their lives, can’t recover from.

“But I also see that what is worse is the kind of violence that is visited upon the young girl.

“She is indoctrinated and convinced to tie a bomb around her and blow it off; that’s violence against girls; that’s violence against women.

“But what I wanted to say was that as we look at the gender-based violence initiative that we put a spotlight on our own nation; we all have a part to play.

“I know we would spend some money in Nigeria on this initiative but we all have a part to play individually and collectively in trying to bring it to zero.”

NLC Thanks Buhari For Sacking Maina

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for ordering the immediate removal from service of former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Force, Abdulrasheed Maina.

NLC President, Ayuba Wabba in a statement in Abuja, Monday, described Maina’s re-engagement and posting as Director to the Ministry of Interior as an affront to law and procedure.

He said it was a huge insult to Nigerians; and a mockery of the president’s fight against corruption.

“Except those involved in the Maina Gate, every other person in Nigeria was aware of the report of the Senate after a painstaking investigation; the refusal of Maina to avail himself to the Senate or the EFCC; his being declared wanted by the EFCC; his taking refuge in the corridors of power then, complete with a retinue of armed personnel, before his subsequent elopement to a foreign country when power changed hands.

“Maina had all the opportunity to clear his name in court if he felt the Senate and EFCC were biased against him.

“But, he did none of those. Instead, he and his co-conspirators in the new corridors of power elected to do the unthinkable, promote and post him because they think Nigerians have forgotten. It is sickening. It stinks to high heavens.

“As follow-up action to Mr. President’s directive, we at the Nigeria Labour Congress demand a full investigation of the circumstances that led to Maina’s flight and reinstatement; and prosecution on allegations of corruption,” the NLC President stated.

BREAKING: Ladoja joins PDP chairmanship race - Olusola Fabiyi, Abuja

A former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has joined the race for the national chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Ladoja returned to the party a few weeks ago.

He left the party to join Accord about eight years ago.

The constitution of the party stipulates that a member of the party will need to remain a member for two consecutive years before he could contest any elective election.

Ladoja will, therefore, need a waiver from the party’ National Executive Committee before he could be cleared for the contest.

The former governor was among other chairmanship aspirants who met with the members of the National Caretaker Committee of the party today.

Chairman of the caretaker committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, presided over the meeting.

Those who were also at the meeting were Chief Bode George, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, Mr. Jimi Agbaje and Prince Uche Secondus.

Others were Chief Raymond Dokpesi and Chief Gbenga Daniel.

INEC Says I am Chairman, My Opponents are Sponsored by IPOB Leaders – Abdulsalam

The incumbent Chairman of the Labour Party, Abdulkadir abdulsalam says INEC has confirmed him as the National Chairman of the Party, by saying that the Status quo be maintained

Some of the National Executive Committee had “a special convention”,  where it removed the National Chairman, Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, and replaced him with Dr. Tayo Omotosho.

However, our Journalists investigated from INEC what the Status quo was,  and the officers recognised by INEC as at 24/10/2017 are as follows:

National Chairman – Alh. Abdukadir Abdulsalam (Baraden Paiko)

National Secretary – Julius Aburi (Acting)

National Treasurer – Mrs. Oluchi Operah

National Financial Secretary – Hajiya Hadiza Kishimi

National Legal Adviser – Barr. Akingbade Oyelekan

According to Alh. Abdulsalam, “When the leadership of the party heard of the planned illegality of this group, we wrote to INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) in a letter dated September 12 and received on September 13. “We stated that our party’s constitution provided that the National Secretary shall cause to be issued a notice of meetings of the National Convention, National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) in consultation with and approval of the National Chairman as contained in Article 15(4)(b) 2014 constitution of our party”.

Very scaring however, is the allegation by Alh. Salam that Calistus Okafor, the Convention Chairman of the conference that removed him, and Ebere Ifendu, the Publicity Secretary of the group, are IPOB leaders and Operatives who are using Labour Party as a cover to perpetrate their Secessionist agenda,

According to  Alh. Abdulsalam, IPOB sponsors and Conspirators are being hunted by Security agents in the Country, and he would not allow the IPOB sponsors to implicate him.

He gave an instance of the illegal meeting held on  20/10/2017, in an hotel in Festac, where almost all of those who attended were IPOB members, Superintended by Calistus Okafor and Sam Okpala, another IPOB Sponsor, who is not a member of Labour Party but Calistus Okafor pushed him forward as the Lagos Labour Party Chairman.

On the allegation of Fraud,  Alh. Abdulsalam said, “those people are Jesters and Clowns. Labour Party has no Governor, the only Senator has decamped,  so where is the billions coming from? All along I have personally been struggling to bear the responsibility of Party Rents, Salaries and  Various Expenses”.

Gov. El-Rufai Counselor’s Visit To Southern Kaduna Clergy “Shameless” – SOKAPU YOUTH

Southern Kaduna People’s Union, SOKAPU, youth-wing president, Nasiru Jagaba described the recent visit by Governor Nasiru El-rufai of Kaduna State newly appointed Counselor on Political Matter, Mallam Lawal Samaila Yakawada to Southern Kaduna clergy as “an act of shamelessness and politically energized.” Jagaba made these assertions during an exclusive interview at the union secretariat in kaduna.

“As the socio-political umbrella of the region, the group has written-off the effort by El-rufai government to pacify the clergy on the ground of being politically motivated and not morally necessary,” has said.

Referencing the media insults El-rufai lashed at the Men-of-God from the region amid the spate of barbaric attacks by Fulani herdsmen, Jagaba lamented that El-rufai made negative comments against our clergies in a well-televised interview and since then, he never deemed it fit to apologize to them until now that a new electioneering period is just by the corner.

“All the damaging comments Elrufai made against our clergies in different fora such as the interview on one of the private Televisions are still fresh in our minds which we cannot forget in a hurry.”

Adding that, “The visit by Yakawada was necessitated by the new political period, which is just by the corner” Jagaba said, “and El-rufai has set in motion a mechanism to reconcile with those he offended. If not for politics the visit wouldn’t have being. To me, he is just trying to hoodwink the people of the region by penetrating the clergy.”

Jagaba insisted that El-rufai needs to retract the libelous statements ascribed to the clergy and openly apologize to them. Seeking forgiveness through proxy is a clear case of contempt and disrespect.

“If the governor is serious about true reconciliation and forgiveness he should have taken a frontal approach by having interface with the clergies, apologize to them and give reasons why he made such a defaming allegation against them. But, sending Yakawada to pacify the clergymen is like regretting an act but, not remorseful about it. We treat our clergy with utmost sense of respect and we expect El-rufai to do the same.”

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY APPROVED LGA AUTONOMY AND INEC TO CONDUCT ELECTION

National Assembly okays autonomy for local governments, INEC to be in charge of Local Government elections.

The National Assembly on granted full financial and administrative autonomy to all the 774 local council authorities across Nigeria by amending section 124 of the nation’s constitution today, Tuesday

The section provides a consequential provision for the making of the local councils, a full third tier government without undue interference from the state governments.

The ammendment was one of the 22 others approved by the House of Representatives last week and ratified by the Senate on Tuesday.

Both chambers had through a conference committee harmonised versions of the ammendments into the constitution carried out by each of them last month.

By the development, the National Assembly had ratified all the 23 clauses and sections that had been ammended by both chambers.

The section equally deleted the State
Independent Electoral Commission from the constitution thereby vesting the powers to conduct council elections on the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The National Assembly also made provisions for Independent candidacy in future elections in Nigeria by ammending sections 65 and 106 of the 1999 constitution

HOW MANY MORE MAINA(MMM) DO WE HAVE IN THIS PMB GOVERNMENT? - Bishop edwins

Now you can obviously see why I said this Buhari and his administration is a ponzi scheme..

So you are surprised.. My dear, if the happenings in Nigeria today surprise you, then you are a learner..

APC and Buhari has never embarrassed me for once.. The reason is simple and why I never ever supported them.. I remember being called a giant whale wailer!.. But I told every ear that cared for the truth that this clown Buhari knows just one thing in his whole life and its the Appian way to destruction!
.
When Buhari recalled the FG cum EFCC wanted financial bandit to civil service.. I reminded my friends of what I once told them, that I am sure Buhari is missing smart thieves like Lawrence Anini and Monday Osunbor. If those two were alive today, they would have made it to Buhari's ministerial appointment.. Buhari just needs the hardened criminals around him.. Men wey sabi.. Not Ibe Kachukwu and his plenty English..
APC needs to quickly put up adverts in Aso Rock, that will read, "ROBBERS WANTED!", Please apply in person here..
.
Why are you surprised, has Abdulrasheed Maina stolen more than Bola Tinubu, who as governor of Lagos State moved from a small fry tenant to become the biggest landlord in Africa.. What about Rotimi Amaechi, the cat with 9 lives of Ubima. Who stole Rivers State dry to solely sponsor Buhari to power. Who amongst the disciples of Buhari has a clean sheet?
Is Maina not a northerner? The region with the sole monopoly to massive loots.. Where has he been hiding for the past 5 years? In one of the deckings of Sambissa of course!.. Or is he one of the statues of Rochas Okorocha wrapped in green-white to be unveiled?..
.
Is it not the same Buhari that declared Tompolo wanted and still gave him a N25b contract?
Do you know that Baschir Lawal is still the SGF and has received his October 2017 salary?.. Now you know that he just didn't cut grass.. He planted bamboo!.. All from a technically suspended position like their Boko Haram project.
Lieutenant general Tukur Yusuf Burutai, chief of army staff's two luxurious buildings in Dubai investigations has been swept under the carpet like the missing NNPC $25b and the N600b contract scam..
.
Querying the reabsorption of Maina means that you don't have an electron of sense in the any of the orbits of your brain.. And accepting the after thought sack again by the chief looter himself Jubril, means something is "working" you from home front!
Who has looted more than Baba himself?
How do you want to account for his medical Odyssey?
.
Maina was declared wanted by EFCC.. And sooooo??
Did Buhari not abscond from office for over 156 days, inconclusively declared WANTED and reappeared as Jubril.. What moral scaffold does he have to PROSCRIBE Maina his co absconder magician!
Did you just erase Aisha Buhari from the Halliburton scandal?.. Did she not run away too?
What has happened to the FG's share of the Paris refund?? Where have they executed the 2015-17 budgets?
Do you know that there is a budget for a meal every school day for the students.. Hope your kids have been eating that in your area? The N5000 approved for unemployed youths.. I learnt you have gotten yours. What about the TSA, its over full abi?..
.
Why then are you making  Maina a big news when there are MANY MORE MAINAS (MMM). All you need do is to apologise to Lawrence Anini and his likes. Nigeria was too hasty and didn't know that entertainers like Muhammadu Buhari will come back and would still need the services of the past criminals to cement their PDP vs APC deviltry.

Was Maina A Ghost Worker? - Oshoma

Thanks to the Maina story, IBE Kachikwu and Maikanti Baru's Nigerian National petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had taken the back seat for now. But was Maina a ghost worker?

It is because it seems nobody in government knew how he was reinstated since the only song on the lips of the alleged actors is Shaggy's "it wasn't me"

Even though the President has asked the Head of service to fire him and the Head of service has subsequently written her report on the matter to the office of the President.

We know that a committee comprising of the Attorney General, the Minister of Interior and maybe the Head of service or Chief of Staff to the President will subsequently be set up to investigate what happened and report to be submitted within two weeks.

But will the committee report be "Babachired" so sorry, "who is even the presidency sef" that's a discussion for another day.

Meanwhile soon Saraki's senate will use this opportunity again to jump at the executive, to investigate the Maina saga, until the next drama.

2019 election might just be as interesting as the 2015 election.

MAGU, FASHOLA AND AYINE NEED TO RESIGN NOW OR BE FIRED.

The America Nigeria Political Action Committee (ANPAC) is calling on three government officials, EFCC boss Ibrahim Magu, Minister for works and housing Babatunde Raji Fashola, and the auditor general of the Country Anthony Ayine to resign their positions or be removed from office by President Buhari.

Not so much Ayine considering the fact that he is a more recent hire but Magu and Fashola need to definitely go.

Granted that the failures of both the EFCC boss to execute the duty assigned to him as well as the Minister in charge of electricity Fashola is enough reason to get rid of them, worse still is the fact that on several occasions, the two have publicly admitted that the task they were handed were according to them ‘Very difficult and is getting tougher by the day.”

This then begs the question were they ever interviewed for these positions and if they were to what level of clarity did they express their understanding of the challenges these positions bring and further still what level of assurances did they give the Presidency about their ability to do the job they so eagerly sought that prompted their names to be submitted to the senate for approval?

From their own mouth we now know that the task they were given is beyond there executive ability so we urge president Buhari to do the right thing and fire Magu and Fashola and leave the Positions Vacant for the next president to fill.

Sad to say but that cannot be worse than what we have now, it in fact be a welcome and historic move as it will be the first time that any government puts the interest of the people first and actually save money.

As for the auditor general Mr Ayine it’s all about the optics, we at ANPAC think it is laughable that our country where it is an open secret that billions are stolen everyday actually has an auditor general that is being paid Seriously?  Paid to do what?

PS
We at ANPAC will like thank you for helping us get the word out we can feel the impact of your efforts we ask that you please don’t relent, the more people you forward this to makes it easy for us to let our “emperors” know that a new day has come we deserve better. God bless you all and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria. You can visit us at any of the portals below and feel free to share with everyone in your network.

YOUR VOTES DOES NOT MATTER - NORTHERN ELDERS BLASTS TINUBU

Yoruba Votes Does Not Matter: Kano’s 1.8M Votes Alone, Is Bigger Than All Votes Buhari Received From S/West.

The Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, Ibrahim Coomassie, has insisted that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC,  Bola Tinubu, was never responsible for the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari, in the 2015 polls.

While speaking, Coomassie said the claim attributed to Tinubu, is grossly inaccurate, and does not add up.

The ACF Chairman disclosed that soon the Pan Northern group, will issue a formal statement on the issue making round, that Tinubu made Buhari President, in 2015.

Also speaking, Maitama Yusuf, former Internal Affairs Minister in the Second Republic, pointed out that the votes of Kano State alone, were more than what the entire South-West gave Buhari.

In his own reaction, the North West Zonal Vice Chairman of the APC, Inuwa AbdulKadir, said that the issue is not the number of votes, but the spread. He said that an analysis of the result shows that all sections of Nigeria contributed in giving victory to APC, in the last election.

Another APC Chieftain, Senator Joseph Waku, in an interview also said that all Nigerians voted for  Buhari, contrary to the claim that Tinubu brought him to power.

“Nigerians needed a change, and the driver of that change is Buhari. Let no Nigerian deceive you. Take it or leave it, Buhari won the election. Full stop!”, he said.

“Tinubu must have contributed more than the rest of us, but you cannot take away the fact that Buhari won the election; and to say Tinubu brought Buhari to power, is an over-exaggeration.

“A lot of Nigerians and other party leaders contributed a lot. Kano State alone, contributed about 1.8 million to Buhari’s total score, and so did many States in the North. Kano’s votes were more than the votes of the entire South-West”, Waku said.

WHEN A MAN MARRIES TWO WIVES: THE IRONY OF APC AND NIGERIANS IN NIGERIA By Comr.Ojewale Alabi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was born into this great country in 1998 and recorded her first National political resounding victory in 1999. It was through the peoples Democratic party that Nigeria was addressed, seen, and known as the giant of Africa virtually in all sectors of her economy, all were through the prowess disposition and proper discharge of good governance by PDP in her good intention, mission and vision for a true world topping economy in the nearest future but was cut short by APC which has negatively disrupted the growth of our economy in less than three years in office.
PDP is a political party that is spirited in good governance which influences the individuals in it as members.
Its crystal clear that the reign of PDP in Nigeria is yet to have a comparison with APC led administration that has murdered the highest GDP in Africa to zero without remedy nor hope of a better economy through her dubious scam policies.
Its quite unfortunate that Nigeria's 2020 vision under PDP of been one of the greatest and strongest economy in the world has been cut short by APC led administration but there is still hope of revitalizing the economy and that hope lies in the hands of PDP and that is why its very pertinent that we must collectively and massively dethrone APC to enthrone PDP to salvage the drowning economy of our great country,Nigeria.

Its on record that since 1960-1963,Nigeria has never had a zero unemployment rate,it has been inevitable but PDP has tried beyond every reasonable doubt in ensuring that job opportunities were made available during her reign so as to get a good percent of her populace engaged with jobs.
It was during PDP led administration that so many agencies were created to create more avenue for employment opportunities. Some of the agencies created under PDP were: TETFUND,CPC,NDLEA,NAFDAC,EFCC,etc, and over 100 thousand Nigerians gained employment in these agencies put together. Foreign investors that were wooed by PDP, has virtually all departed the country owing to poor leadership mechanism. In less than three years of APC rule, over 20,000 persons has lost their jobs.
Its regrettably unfortunate that the APC led administration only came into power to bastardize and destroy the 16 years of PDP hard labour of development to see us to the top of African economy and beyond which has been crippled by APC led government.

NIGERIANS MUST FORBID APC AND HER MEMBERS IN 2019:

APC has made negative histories like no other political party has ever made in Nigeria history. It may interest you to know that in the history of Nigeria, no political party has looted $25B at a go or in all, even Abacha, couldn't loot such mouth watering figure in less than three years of his administration. It is also on record that, its only under the leadership of APC that ordinary grass cutting cost us about #250M as alleged in some quarters. Through APC, I have heard the followings:

Budget Missing

Budget Paddling

Recession

Python Dance,etc.

We have seen the wide margin between our first wife and second wife and we are certain that the second wife deserves no place in our beloved country, hence,we must decisively dethrone them unceremoniously.

Ever since I was born, there has never been a time under PDP that a bag of rice was sold for #20k. There was never a time $1 rose to #500,etc.,it all happened under the nose of APC. Its no longer in doubt or contention that our five, ten and twenty  naira denominations no longer afford any item in our today's market, courtesy of APC deteriorated leadership.

Nigeria is faced today with high level of hunger, sufferings, pains and living below $1 per a week as a result of the amateur leadership of unskilled entities.
The sensibilities of great and well meaning Nigerians has been jeopardized by few genocidal uncircumcised fellas that acts before thinking. Our failure (God forbid) to dethrone this wicked present administration in 2019,we tell on us as no person shall be exempted just as we are all in it now.

Poor masses no longer feed even twice a day due to hardship meted on them by the poor governance of today. Our survival today is beckoned on two factors. God and PDP legacies.
Within two years and few months,APC has borrowed billions of dollars than PDP could borrow in 16 years. As acclaimed by APC, billons of dollars has been recovered from the looters yet,we keep borrowing incessantly. There is no moral or economic justification why APC should not be dethroned in 2019. They have caused us more harm than good,we have lost lives, properties, they have destroyed our economy etc.,like never before.

In 2019,a vote for PDP, will be a vote for a greater Nigeria.
A vote for PDP, will be a vote for drastic reduction in cost of commodities. A vote for PDP, will be a vote for foreign investors like in the past. A vote for PDP, will be a vote for a brand new Nigeria economy, etc.

Let's Support And Vote For PDP At All Levels And Vote Against The Denials Of Freedom Of Speech.

PDP National Convention: Why The Party Must Not Continue In Sin - Musa Abdullahi

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), the leading opposition political party in Nigeria has scheduled to hold its elective National Convention, between November and December, 2017 to elect officers that will replace the National Caretaker Committee (NCC) and pioneer the affairs of the party ahead of 2019 and beyond.

However, the concern in the minds of stakeholders of the party and other lovers of democracy in Nigeria is that, the PDP must surmount the various political calculations and interest within the party and in the country in order not to further destroy its fortunes.

Critics of the PDP are already positing that the party has not learnt from its past mistakes of imposition, lack of internal party democracy, illegal manipulation of the zoning arrangements and possible disenfranchisement of credible persons that may take the PDP out of the woods.

One of the issues under contention in recent times, is the influx of the immediate past National Working Committee of the Party in the race for various party positions. It has been alleged that the Immediate past national working committee of the party committed serious act of gross misconduct and looted the party with reckless abandon.

Nigerians may recall that, after the disappointing loss of the PDP in the 2015 General Elections, staffers of the PDP National Secretariat raised an alarm, accusing Prince Uche Secondus, the former Deputy National Chairman of the Party and other members of the then NWC of mismanagement and misappropriation of party funds.

The party had recorded over N12 Billion from the sale of nomination forms during the 2015 General Elections but the members of the NWC under Dr. Adamu Muazu and Prince Uche Secondus squandered the said amount before leaving office in May, 2016.

In one of the publications made available to newsmen by the PDP staff, it was gathered that Prince Secondus after the resignation of Adamu Muazu sat with other members of the NWC and appropriated to themselves various sums of money ranging from N30 to N100million without the approval of the National Executive Committee (NEC).

It was also reported that the NWC in less than six months paid themselves six years housing allowances in areas, far above the stipulated four years tenure of the NWC, thereby neglecting the backlogs of the same allowances meant for the administrative staff of the party.

It was also gathered that, one of the share meant for Dr. Adamu Muazu was paid into Julius Berger company account, a situation that led to some Inter agency rivalry between the company and the party.

In order to perpetrate this nefarious act, the then National Working Committee under Prince Uche Secondus opened a pseudo or ‘All Purpose’  bank account in Zenith Bsnk, without the approval of NEC,  in the name of ‘Morufi Nigeria Limited, where monies were diverted to serve their personal interest.  The Morufi Nigeria Limited account was used, instead of the Party official account for the payment of nomination forms of delegate elections in 2015.

Investigations has also revealed that part of the failure of the PDP in 2015 was traced to the Immediate past National Working Committee of the party.. It was revealed that the non inclusion of some of the past NWC members in the Jonathan Campaign Organization angered most of the members, leading to infighting and anti party activities.

Some stakeholders are also of the opinion that the former National Chairman, Dr. Muazu, his Deputy, Prince Uche Secondus and the members of the NWC colluded and collected huge sums of money from various aspirants of the party and later denied them tickets.  This also led to the mass exodus of PDP members before the general elections. It is therefore a misnomer and suicidal  to allow the immediate past NWC members to administer the affairs of the PDP at this crucial times.

Party members are therefore worried with these embarrassing situations and believes that, returning again this same set of persons to the National Secretariat will not only spell doom for the party, but will remain an impediments to the progress and success of the PDP in the 2019 general elections.

Maina’s Reinstatement: A Classical Example Of Honour Among Thieves - PDP.

Jeffery Archer, the British Author in his Classical Novel Titled "Honour among thieves" postulated that criminals do not compromise the actions of other criminals".

It is in the light of this that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wishes to state that we are not too shocked at the steps taken by the Administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in reinstating a supposed criminal and fugitive, Abdulrasheed Maina to office instead of getting him arrested.

Birds of a feather flocks together.

All people of good conscience will not forget in a hurry that Maina, who was given an assignment by the Last Administration of the PDP to superintend the now defunct Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, dipped his hands into the Jar and helped himself to N100 billion of what he was supposed to safeguard.

With good conscience at fighting corruption, the PDP  Government then, mandated the Anti-corruption Agencies to perform their constitutional duty. Maina fled, only to resurface in the Country four months ago under the Buhari Administration.

As a Party of good conscience, we wish to condemn in strongest terms, the penchant of the Administration of President Buhari to giving safe haven to known criminals while hoodwinking Nigerians that it's fighting corruption.

While we are growing fatigued shouting ourselves hoarse in protest against nepotism, a clear form of corruption under this administration which has been elevated to state craft, we are appalled that the reinforcement of financial corruption by this government might soon lead to the demise of this Nation if the Celestial does not intervene.

We are worried that the APC Administration seem to have grown thick skins to constructive criticism; otherwise, no sane government, in spite of the open condemnation the Party has received from Nigerians over its shielding of criminals, will repeat another one as done in the case of Maina.

The PDP wish Nigerians can demand from the APC Government, the Civil Service Rule it relied upon in promoting a wanted criminal who had abandoned his duty post as an Assistant Director, to the position of a Director with all benefits attached.

We wish the APC Government will tell Nigerians where and when, and under which Court Jurisdiction Maina was cleared of his criminal allegations of stealing, warranting his restoration to duty and getting rewarded with double promotion.

It is reported that the Fugitive has been rewarded with payment of bogus salary arrears amounting to N22 million, which he has reportedly collected upon approval and release by the Accountant General of the Federation.

We dare the Government of the Day to deny this with verifiable evidences.

We are shocked and sad as well that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with its viable network under the Administration of the PDP has suddenly lost steam to the Point that it wasn't aware of the Entrance of a high class wanted criminal into the Country until the Media exposed it.

Nigerians can see that the APC Administration has taken the fire out of our security agencies like the Police, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the likes.

How else can one explain why it took the Media to expose the Arrival and Promotion of Maina by the Government before the Agencies became aware of his presence in the Country. We smell complicity...!

Nigerians will not forget in a hurry that the President Buhari Administration has severally shown it's commitments to protecting financial criminals who are willing to play ball and are known to be ardent supporters of the Ruling Party.

It is on record that Ahmed Gambo Saleh as Registrar of the Supreme Court, was accused of stealing N2.2bn belonging to the Supreme Court and was caught red handed.

Same Ahmed Gambo Saleh was initially arraigned but the Case was almost immediately withdrawn and he was made Secretary of the NJC.

Unexplainably, same Ahmed Gambo Saleh is now also the Secretary of the Committee monitoring corruption trials.

Nigerians have not forgotten in a hurry how the so called corruption fighting Government of President Buhari refused to allow the Law take its course in the graft allegations involving suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke.

The Government seem to have also buried without shame, the Expose by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu on the Illegal Award of Contracts running to over $25 Billion by the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) who has told the World that he has the Support of President Buhari in carrying out the heist.

Though we know that the APC is like a dead horse immune to any positive prompting; we however, will not do, but ask that the right thing be done.

In this wise, we ask that President Buhari should for once, act like a President of a nation and not as a sectional leader whose ideas of right and wrong depends entirely on who is involved.

The President should understand that this is a moral and criminal issue and should be so treated.

We therefore, demand the immediate arrest and prosecution of Maina for his atrocities, arrest and prosecution of those who helped him return to the Country and got restored to his duty post with promotion added.

We also demand the Immediate sack of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Abdulrahman Danbazzau, Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami who have been fingered in the Illegal Act of restoring Maina to office against good conscience.

Long live the PDP! Long live Nigeria!!
